A comprehensive multi-services organization in New York City is currently seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to join one of their growing facilities in Staten Island.
About the Opportunity:


  • Setting:Article 16 Clinic
  • Schedule:Monday to Friday
  • Hours:9am to 5pm or 8am to 4pm
  • Patient Population:Adults (Ages 18+)
  • EMR:PrecisionCare


Responsibilities:


The Occupational Therapist (OT) will:
  • Planand implementprescribed OT treatment programs for persons receiving services to maintain and/or restore function secondary to acute or chronic disability
  • Conductannual screens
  • Make assessments
  • Performdaily documentation
  • Handle other duties, as needed


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy school
  • NYS Occupational Therapist (OT)license
  • Knowledge in the use of mobility devices and therapeutic exercises
  • Microsoft Office proficient
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Highly organized

Desired Skills:
  • Experience with wheelchair assessment
  • Experience working with people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
