The counterweights were aftermarket products. While they might be of slightly different width for the steel, the total weight is identical.
The winch is mechanical. This is how they were originally designed and manufactured. The winch can be converted to be hydraulically operated at an extra cost.
Furthermore, please note that this unit was fully rebuilt including all components and has just completed field tests in which it was found to be 100% operational.
